Using Xiaomi Presets to Save Time in Your Content Workflow

Blueprint for batching content with Xiaomi presets from capture to export and saving hours

If editing is chewing up your schedule, automate it. Presets are basically macros for your visuals, and Xiaomi’s built-in tools play nicely with batch workflows.

Why presets slash editing time

Once you lock a look, every new shoot is just copy/paste, not invention. You avoid slider fatigue and protect your brand aesthetic while juggling scripts, captions, and comments.

A simple workflow

  1. Capture: shoot with the histogram visible so highlights aren’t clipped. Saves time fixing mistakes later.
  2. Apply preset in bulk: in Xiaomi Gallery, select the day’s photos → tap Batch Edit → apply your hero preset.
  3. Micro-adjust: only tweak exposure/white balance on standout frames. Everything else rides the preset.
  4. Export + organize: export JPEGs to a “Ready to Post” folder, archive RAWs for future remixing.

Batching tips

  • Schedule one editing block per week. Apply presets to an entire queue so social posts are ready days in advance.
  • Name presets by platform (e.g., Reel-Glow, Blog-Matte) to avoid guessing which look fits which channel.
  • Use Xiaomi’s clipboard feature to copy adjustments between clips if you’re editing short-form video stills.

With a preset-first mindset, you get your evenings back while your feed stays polished.
